Clare Shine is a professional footballer for Glasgow City and Republic of Ireland. She is also a published author with her first book, 'Scoring Goals in the Dark', released in 2022.

A powerful speaker, Clare has established a reputation as being an inspirational ambassador for dealing with mental health issues. She has twice attempted suicide and has used those experiences to empower others to make better choices.

Originally from Cork in Ireland, Clare currently lives in Glasgow, Scotland where her footballing career continues to flourish with 65 goals scored for the best women's team in Scotland and seven senior international caps earned for Ireland.

Clare is passionate about being a positive role model to girls and young women.
